M&J say NO

M&J Seafood has announced that it will no longer be supplying bluefin tuna to the foodservice market; this follows its ban on all shark products in its portfolio.
M&J say the decision underlines its “strenuous” efforts to support and promote sustainable and ethical sourcing and champion the use of underutilised species.

NFFO upset with SNP fisheries policy

Today the National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations (NFFO), England’s main catching sector group, accused the Scottish Government of a “pre-emptive strike” over a licensing and quota issue which underlines the differing policies being pursued North of the Border.
