There have been 8 skate tagged with data storage tags in the Sound of Mull and surrounding areas and Loch Sunart.
As well as the data storage tags one skate is also tagged with a Satellite tag which should detach after 1st of August and then upload it’s info.
The data storage tags will operate for 1 year but the fish will have to be recaptured to be able to recover the stored data.
