Sustainable Seas Consultation

Sustainable Seas For All - A consultation on Scotland’s first marine bill was launched on July 14, 2008 it is now underway and will run until October 6, 2008.

The Scottish Government claims it is keen to get views from across all communities and sectors and encourages people and organisations to come forward and voice their opinions and that all responses to these proposals will be considered.

Throughout the consultation period a series of free Scottish Marine Bill consultation events will be held around Scotland.

* August 15 - Pettycur, Fife - hosted by Forth Estuary
* August 21 - Musselbrugh - hosted by Forth Estuary Forum
* September 5 - Dundee - hosted by Scottish Coastal Forum
* September 10 - Inverness - hosted by Moray Firth Partnership
* September 12 - Dumfries - hosted by Solway Firth Partnership
* September 17 - Aberdeen - hosted by East Grampian Coastal Partnership
