SSACN AGM

Oct 7th, 2008 | By ssacn | Category: SSACN Announcements

SSACN held its first AGM as a registered charity last week at the Sea Life Aquarium, Loch Lomond. The turnout was very pleasing and the discussions during the evening were very helpful and constructive.

We made some tremendous strides forward last year :

  • Developed a video to highlight angling communities
  • Held an Event in Holyrood
  • First ever debate on sea angling in Parliament
  • Research and educational outreach link with SEA LIFE
  • Introduced ‘Give Fish A Chance’ programme

and many other activities which are covered in greater detail in the Lifelines newsletter which may be downloaded here.

For the coming year we have, as usual, more ideas than resources - please step up and offer your services, or perhaps take out one of the forms of Membership and/or make a donation.

You can pay by Paypal, credit card, debit card, personal cheque etc. www.ssacn.org/subscribe-or-donate/ has all the details.

Thanks to all
The SSACN Team
