Forces–shark tagging opportunity

| November 15, 2012

forcesA unique adventurous training opportunity is up for grabs thanks to a group of service personnel interested in Marine Conservation.

The Joint Services Shark Tagging Team was set up in 2006 and since then they have tagged 50 sharks in the Pacific Ocean.

They are in the throws of arranging their fourth expedition to the Clarion Island off the Mexican Coast and are recruiting for volunteers now.

They were at the Birmingham Dive Show sharing their experiences with civilian divers and trying to raise some money towards their trip to Mexico.
