Great pacific garbage patch

| October 20, 2009

Lara Leslie, an independent film maker, recently made a short film about plastic pollution and the sea. This poetic 90 second short is about Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a patch of waste 6 times the size of Britain that has doubled in 12 years. It was made in an attempt to save the sea and can be viewed here:

Lara is asking people to watch and rate the film and to forward it to others; and will be using responses in a 2010 campaign to  help increase recycling in the UK.
