Marine Licensing Consultations

Nov 1st, 2010 | By editor | Category: Scottish Government News

Marine Scotland recently issued a public consultation, entitled the ‘Consultation on Marine Licensing for Scotland under the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010 and the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.

As part of the consultation process, they plan to meet with a range of stakeholders to discuss the issues addressed in the consultation.

There will be four of these consultation events, held throughout November. Two of these have been planned to integrate with Scottish Coastal Forum and the Scottish Renewables Forum on the 2nd and 17th November, respectively.

There will also be two separate events which will have a slightly broader scope, tackling the issues raised by those consultations, for the full range of stakeholders, which will be held in Aberdeen on 10 November and in Edinburgh, on the 25 November.

If you would like to attend either of these events, contact Matthew.Cartney@scotland.gsi.gov.uk by 8th November.
