Scottish and UK fisheries ministers respond to SFF questions on independence.

sff logoThe Scottish Fishermen’s Federation (SFF) has received replies from both the Scottish and UK fisheries ministers providing their answers to key questions on the implications for fishing  should there be constitutional change.

In the SFF’s letter to Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs Richard Lochhead, and UK Fisheries Minister, George Eustace, the Federation underlined that as an organisation it is apolitical (as is SSACN) and cannot take a view on independence – but it has been charged by its members to ask questions so as to provide more clarity that will enable individual fishermen to make their own minds up.

The letters to the two ministers and their replies are posted on the SFF website.
